Nobody likes to read long intros so I'll be brief as I can:
1. Tell us about yourself.
I'm a web designer and graphic designer from Southern Maryland. I'm 25 and I am an aspiring composer, game designer, and fiction writer.
I hold the view that the state is an inherently immoral organization and should be reduced to as small as possible (and yes, the ideal size is zero). I am not a debatatarian, and I would never stick out my foot to trip someone who is walking in the same direction as me.

2. Why are you here?
I am very aware of the factionalism/rifts in the libertarian movement, but I just want to say that I heard about the Free State Project in 2002, and was indifferent about for a long time. It wasn't until 2006, when the idea of civil disobedience was brought to my attention, that I decided that Free State Project is a good thing. The fact that civil disobedience was going on is what tipped me over in favor of moving to New Hampshire. I think it is great that the lobbying activism and campaigns for public office are having some degree of success, however, when I move, I intend for all of my activism to be outside-the-system. I am moving to NH because I heard about the civil disobedience activists.
I am ramping up my efforts to become fully self-employed. My primary concern with moving to New Hampshire is that I don't want to get a job working for someone else, and then lose my job because I have to spend a few days (or weeks!) in jail because of my activism, though I'm sure there are people here who can advise me on employers that are pro-freedom/FSP sympathizers. Otherwise, it looks like self-employment is the way to go. That being said, I have already signed the FSP Statement of Intent, and I am not afraid of being thrown in a cage, so I am moving to NH no matter what happens.
3. How did you find Free Keene?
How I came across FreeKeene.com is a long story, but it basically has to do with FreeStateProject.org embedding an episode of FreeTalkLive in its home page in October 2006.
Cool! When are you moving?
Once I get my life savings to a level that is comfortable (for me), I'm gonna quit my M-F job workin' for the man and move up there. Yup, not waiting for the FSP 20K. Hopin' to be there before 2013.
I'm not gonna lie about it- life kinda sucks in SoMD, especially knowing that there are civil dis activists over there in NH having fun without me. The sooner I can get over there, the better.
Very cool. Do what is right for you.

Charlie, this is not a proper introduction as per the forum rules: http://forum.freekeene.com/index.php?topic=1127.0
Please review that thread and post an introduction that is to-spec.
Welcome to the forum!

Nifty. Care to swap clefs whenever we both find ourselves in Keene?
Also, considering doing what I'm planning on doing: Live out of an RV. Ya' can't beat that rent. I haven't worked out the parking angle just yet, (as it seems like the campgrounds in the area want nearly as much as apartment rent for spots without hookups), but I'll figure something out.
