Yea, that’s why many of us have been migrating away from Facebook, YouTube, and Tiwtter for years. We’ve got Matrix, Mastodon, and and Lbry as more federated, self hosted, and decentralized options. Even Telegram is proving to be not-so-libertarian although we’ve always known the risks. It’s better than other platforms, but it’s not as good as we had hoped I think. Telegram just kicked off right-wing groups. I may not be right-wing, but if they can and are willing to do so what stops them from doing the same to us? Nothing. This is the danger of Telegram and other platforms like it even if the people who are behind them lean libertarian.

Unfortunately I fell and it made me realize I needed family around. So that made me return. Sadly.
