It's so refreshing to find a movement so practical and even beneficial. My name's Nathan, I'm 18, and have recently graduated from High School. I have been fed up with our political system ever since I was old enough to understand it. I have felt repressed by the community I live in and feel like no one here agrees with my ideas. There is a strong two party presence here. You are ether red or blue. That is it.
Being that I recently graduated I am trying to start my life, and to do something important with it. I was never motivated in school for many reasons but I did a lot of research on my own. When I was younger I always considered myself a Republican. Mainly because of their stance on the economy, but also because that was what my family supported. But I always disagreed with their stance on social issues like drug prohibition and their foreign policy. I soon discovered Libertarianism. It was like a lite bulb went off in my head and I was soon on the FSP web site.
I have now decided that moving to the Shire would be a great option for me. I wish to become a writer and maybe a journalist I feel The Shire would be a great place for me to open myself up and become a free and creative person. I only have a few questions to ask. First, I am still very young and wish to find a community that has a fairly available night life. Second, I ride bikes avidly and would love to live in a bike friendly community. So what city do you think would be right for me?
From what I've heard Manch and Portsmouth are music-scene friendly.
Keene is the most walkable/bikeable, but all cities in NH are pretty compressed, so a bike is useful anywhere.
Welcome!
If you want night life, unfortunately Keene is one of the last cities to choose. And don't let anyone convince you that "The Railroad" is nightlife.
I don't know which cities are walkable/bikeable besides Keene.
