… because I eat meat, but some vegans are delicious.

To gain full access to this forum, you must post a mandatory introduction. Please post a brand new thread for your introduction. So you are not confused with a spammer, please make sure your intro addresses these three things:
1. Tell us about yourself.
2. Why are you here?
3. How did you find the Shire Society?
If your intro does not address these points, your post count will be reduced to zero, preventing you from posting elsewhere in the forum and subjecting your account to our regular purge of accounts with zero posts.
My name is Kirk and I moved to NH from MI with my family (wife, two daughters) in '09 as part of the FSP. We're coming up on our 3rd anniversary of Shire living now. I'll let them choose whether or not to sign on and tell you about themselves. As for me …
Since moving here I've co-founded:
www.informalu.org
www.shireexchange.com
The Church of the Sword
Creative Partners
and founded www.resistance-is-fertile.com .
I started the FSP Job Alert on Facebook and also work as the Executive Director of www.nhcommonsense.org and www.nhcompassion.org.
I found out about the Shire Society at PorcFest '10 and these forums through the super-secret place that need not be named.
Welcome!
Damn. I was gonna ask "Are they made with real vegans?" but you beat me to the joke!
Great minds and all that sort of thing
I saw the title and wondered how long you have to marinate 'em.
Just a couple of hours, usually over dinner.

Did you go to the first Maine Cannabis Expo last year, or the 2nd Treating Yourself Expo in Toronto?
I am thinking about checking them out this year. The Maine one is probably pretty lame, but the Treating Yourself expo looks good.

May 25-27, $50 for three days, $420 for a judges pass.
No, I didn't make it to either one. Does look interesting, however …
