Free Ian Rally Jan 16th, 10 AM, 2025 @ Concord Statehouse

Join us for a Free Ian rally Jan 16th @ 10AM in Concord, NH where we’ll be advocating for the pardoning of Ian Freeman, a man wrongfully convicted of victimless crimes and crimes he didn’t even technically commit. Ian has been fighting for peace, liberty, and freedom for decades, including our financial freedom.

This event aims to raise awareness about the injustices he’s facing for speaking up against the status quo. He’s been attacked for his activism and been rung through the ringer multiple times over the years because of one FBI agent (Phil Christiana) with an agenda against the Free State Project and it’s most significant proponent: Ian Freeman.

Join us in urging president elect Donald Trump to grant Ian a presidential pardon.

I wish I could be there, but unfortunately I’m ensconced over a thousand miles away. That said, as a lawyer in Florida I strongly concur that Ian Freeman should be granted a pardon by our incoming President. It appears that Mr. Freeman was swept up in a wave of authoritarian and unconstitutional power-flexing by our-of-control government actors who sought to entrap and imprison anyone who cared to live their lives at they saw fit, while harming no one.

THANK GOD FOR OUR INCOMING PRESIDENT TRUMP.

I won’t be holding my breath that Trump will pardon him, but that isn’t to say there isn’t any chance of it happening. More people attending and getting this travesty in front of the media and Trump however is a start to that end. There are still appeals coming shortly as well. There is a hearing open to the public that people can attend to show there support in February too.

Unfortunately the system is corrupt (and not even how most people think) and even more so ever since the fair sentencing guidelines were introduced decades ago. That tied judges hands regarding sentencing, but fortunately for Ian the mandates it imposed have been loosened and judges can once again take factors and such things into account during sentencing. The judge clearly did that in Ian’s case. After 1 count was thrown out after conviction for there being no evidence for the jury to have based a conviction on the judge sentenced Ian to less than half the MINIMUM sentence. That alone is unheard of. However it just goes to show how ridicules these convictions are.

Even a former prosecutor (ie the judge was a former prosecutor) whose biased AGAINST the defendant (the judge instructed the prosecution to bring Ian up on baseless unrelated charges which in itself was probably professional midconduct that the actual prosecutor said had proven to have no merit to effectively let the public hang Ian over controversial, but completley false accusations, or something of this nature anyway in open court) evidenced the absurdly weak case against Ian.

Nevertheless, the following was in the news just yesterday: " President-elect Donald Trump is planning to release an executive order elevating crypto as a policy priority and giving industry insiders a voice within his administration, according to people familiar with the plans.

The order is expected to name crypto as a national imperative or priority — strategic wording intended to guide government agencies to work with the industry, according to people familiar with the matter. It is also slated to create a crypto advisory council to advocate for the industry’s policy priorities, said the people who requested anonymity to discuss an executive order that is not yet public.

That would be a sea change for crypto, which has been a target for investigations during President Joe Biden’s administration following a spate of high-profile fraud cases, including the bankruptcy of the FTX exchange. Federal agencies including the [Securities and Exchange Commission filed more than 100 enforcement actions against the sector in recent years, and banking regulators made it difficult for crypto companies to work with financial institutions.

Still under discussion for inclusion in the executive order is a directive for all government agencies to review policies about digital assets and possibly pause any litigation involving crypto, the people said. Stopping legal actions that have targeted a range of companies from Binance Holdings Ltd, to startup Ripple Labs Inc.".

Ian is one of the victims of the targeting of the crypto industry by the Biden administration. The above is why Ian could and should receive a pardon.

Yea, well, the press release went well. We had two reporters come out besides Free Keene. One from the Boston Globe and another from InDepthNH. Carla Garrick also live streamed the event on X. There were probably a good 15-20 people at the event.
