Taking inspiration from last year’s calendar hosted in Nextcloud, and the attempts to De-google everything, I’ve volunteered to host a “permanent” ForkFest calendar on the quillage cloud.

ie. Frisbee on the field 3pm, Volleyball, Beer/Grocery run, Community campfire, etc
This is still centralized, but at least none of it is dependent on any tech monopoly.
The Quillage.org website is still under construction, but the NextCloud hosting portion has been running solid for over a year.
The Forkfest calendar is as publicly readable as I could make it, and can be edited by myself or others with an account. If you need help adding to your phone or calendar software, you can search for “Add nextcloud public calendar to iphone” - or something like that.
I haven’t found a good way to embed it into a website yet, but that should also be possible to add/embed into forkfest.party
