I was thinking the other day that no one here has specifically addressed
the relationship between AI, quantum internet, and data centers.
Both AI and quantum computing require massive amounts of power. In fact
that was supposed be one reason why quantum computing might not advance
quickly, because of the cost of quantum computers.
But these data centers are already using massive amounts of power. It wouldn’t
surprise me if they became nodes on a quantum internet.
Just thought I’d mention it so that we can keep a closer eye on it.
