Cop-Blocking in Massachusetts

"Come one, come all to Western Massachusetts! If you are looking for some action packed Cop-Blocking experience, mark your calendars down for the days preceding and following October 7th. If southern New Hampshire-ites are asking themselves, “why the f*ck would I want to come down to the land of rural socialism to record some police brutality?”, I direct you to the events of several months previous.

Sometime in late Spring, I was present at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst campus when the stormtroopers showed up. Of course I’m meaning local and state law enforcement. Decked out in full riot gear to break up an encampment in support of Palestine, these well-armed and well-funded cops took turns arresting the most soft and harmless citizens our region has to offer. In particular, older hippies who still thought peace was possible, and passionate undergraduates who felt that the only way to get their university to divest from genocide was taking the campus over.

Fast forward to today. Upon the anniversary of October 7th, you can rest assured that there will continue to be attempts at stifling and disorganizing protesters and those wishing to hold government accountable. If you hold that it is the responsibility of the people to hold all levels of government, and if you believe that the CopBlock movement is still relevant to today’s top-down tyranny, then I invite one and all to the I-91 corridor. Don’t worry, if you miss these early October opportunities to record a nearby police-state, just wait until November."
