1. Tell us about yourself.
My name is Stephen Cronin and I currently live in Houston, TX. I work for a cloud computing company, have a BA in English and an MA in Developmental Psychology. I was first exposed to the ideas of liberty by Ron Paul's message in 2007, this is also when I heard about the FreeStateProject. At that moment in time, I had just left New Hampshire where I was staying in Rochester for a summer and contracted Chronic Lyme disease, which took me few years to overcome. As you may imagine, I wasn't too eager to travel back up north for the FreeStateProject after that experience. 
2. Why are you here?
I'm healthy now, am a little tired of corporate Houston, and am considering a change of location for at least a year. I'd like to visit Keene whenever the snow is gone and see if it's a place I resonate with. If so, I'm more than equipped and mentally prepared to make the move.

I hope that's enough of an intro post. I don't have a History of activism however did volunteer for Ron Paul's campaign in 2007 and 2011. In the past, I've been heavily involved with Republican conventions in the form as a delegate, attempting to pass liberty friendly resolutions and electing liberty friendly people to the state party. After several years of this process I became extremely burned out. At this point I'm not even sure I want to involve my self in party politics. A move to Keene, for me, would be more about meeting people and discovering what liberty oriented activities I enjoy.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you will move back to the Granite State. The FSP/porcupine community is 4X larger now than when you left. And it is continuing to expand swiftly.
There are many paths to liberty. As a libertarian Republican myself, I still think the political approach is worthwhile, but whatever you enjoy and can be effective at is the best way to move things toward more liberty.
