Attention Dale and Keniacs

I lurk here more than I post but I wanted to make an announcement to all of you:

I'm coming home…to Manchester. http://nhunderground.com/forum/index.php?topic=18769.0

Dale you were the only one that ever responded to my post about having a friendly CD competition between the FK activists and activists in Manchester. Would you be willing to help me come up with a point system?

I hung out with the MHD crew tonight and, while I love what you guys are doing in Keene, it's time to step things up in another city. The Keeniac level of activism needs to happen across NH. Manchester seems like more of a challenge to pull it off due to its size. I'm up for the challenge.

I have pics and vid form tonight but from the camera phone and bad lighting.

At least you have less taxes and regulation (not to mention lower rents) on your side.  That should make things a little easier for you.

Welcome home, BM. OR is it: welcome back home? You used to live in Manch and are now returning?

I've got a lot on my plate right now and I'm not really much of a CD guy anyway. Might be better to work with some of the folks who have actually done some CD.

CD=Cross Dressing???

I would love to see more civdis going on in Manchester. ;D

One night, a peace officer came across the Mullah Nasrudin on his hands and knees on the sidewalk.
"Are you looking for something, Mullah?" the officer asked.
"Yes," Nasrudin replied, "I lost my wallet on Main Street."
"But Mullah," came the reply, "Main Street is two blocks south."
"I know," Nasrudin answered with the barest trace of impatience, " but there's more light here."

If you want to see more civdis in Manchester, you'll probably have to move to Keene . . .

Considering the amount of movers Manch has, you'd think such things would already be going on.  Good luck.

I'd gladly help you out behind the scenes and also be at your event to spectate. I just can't take a charge, which is why I don't live in Keene.

No problem. I think I know how you feel. So many ideas floating around in my head I want to make sure I only do the ones I can commit to. I have a friend here in Michigan that's helping me. When the point system is completed I'll post it for some feedback.

I seriously contemplated making the move to Keene. Rent was a small factor but the decision to go back to Manchester was more along the lines of thinking this can be done on multiple fronts. From the outside looking in, people may go from wondering what the heck is going on in Keene New Hamsphire to what the heck is going on in New Hampshire?

I'm not trying to take away from what you all are doing there. Your actions inspire me. I just think it would be better to happen all over the state.

Yeah Mike, I moved there last April but was forced to return. All loose ends are taken care of now so I'll only have to come back to Michigan for holidays and the occasional sport's game.

I thought the same thing but even if I have to pass out FIJA fliers by myself at least there's a chance somebody will see it starting and help out. Where it goes from there…

Glad to have your help Atlas. I seem to remember you saying you were from Michigan. Maybe we can grab a beer and catch a Tigers - Red Sox game some time.

I'm not going to try to take charge, it's not really in my nature either. But I can lead by example and if others are inspired by my actions then it's a step in the right direction.

Don't apologize.  Manchester is great.

Nope. That's why I wanted to make a game out of it. I know there's a strong movement to recruit activists to Keene. I don't want to hate on what they're doing.

If it becomes a game it will never turn into "we're better then they are". Hopefully it will inspire people in other cities to get active in the game and their own Free "city name here" media.

I'm sure we'll be doing a lot of mutual activism. Given the chance (and a ride) I'll show up in Keene whenever I have the time. I can only hope that they'll show up here when an event warrants it.
