Salutations. In accordance with your forum rules and directives I would like to formally introduce myself prior to engaging in further correspondence on your forum.
My name's Branden, so feel free to call me Branden as opposed to "Celestrian" or "theCelestrian." I currently reside in San Diego, and I'm the Front-End Architect for the B2C eCommerce platform of a very large fortune 100 company that makes lots of different kinds of electronic devices, like stations on which you can play stuff. I lived in Japan for a couple of years and have heard quite a bit about FSP and Free Keene via FTL. I have some family that lives in Derry, NH - so that's pretty cool too.
Some other things about me include:
[li]I like to use lists in my posts
[/li]
[li]I'm often accused (rightly) of speaking at length
[/li]
[li]I'm extremely interested in attending both the Liberty Forum and Porc-Fest.
[/li]
[li]I like my firearms, and use them often at the range[/li]
So yeah, I've heard about the forum, am interested in hearing a bit more about the activities that other liberty-minded individuals and wanted to introduce myself so if/when I come up for the LF or Porc-Fest, Mark and Ian aren't the only two people I know and who know who I am.
As they say in Japan, よろしくお願いします。

Do you know Sam Wolanyk? He came to NH during the Ron Paul campaign in late 2007, and he's big into Open Carry back home in San Diego.
I don't - you'll have to forgive me because San Diego (city) has 1.3 million+ people and close to 3 million in the County. Is he on this forum?

Dont think so, and I do forgive you. It was a shot in the dark, but you know how "small" the circle/network gets once you've been active for a while. Seems like it doesnt take long to meet everyone who's doing something.
Welcome!

Indeed. It's generally about an 7-10 hr. flight (depending on stop-overs) when I fly from here to Manchester. I love the flight though - got lots to see in the flyover space. Beat's the heck out of looking at 12 hours of Pacific Ocean when I fly to Japan.
Welcome. Try not to ask a TSA agent what their having for lunch. They might try and detain you as a security threat :o
Welcome!
