Amazon US just broke up with FTL

Amazon US has broken up with us because:

“You are incentivizing others to visit the Amazon Site by specifying that purchases made using your Special Links will help to support your website.”

So now if you’d like to shop with Free Talk Live, you can visit http://saveatpurse.com to save 20% off Amazon with bitcoin or other cryptocurrency

OR

You can visit http://walmart.freetalklive.com to shop via Wal-Mart.

ALSO

If you’re in the UK or Canada, our Amazon affiliate links are still active in those countries. You can find them at http://shop.freetalklive.com

Thank you!

Wow, that’s gonna suck for a lot of people. I guess they’re big enough now to stop paying out that 4% commission.

eBay pays around the same as Amazon too:

Why the US and and not the other countries? :upside_down_face:

They are separate affiliate programs.

Wait a minute! I’m missing something. What the fuck is wrong with that?

They claim it’s a violation of their TOS

Lol I’ve had nothing but problems with Amazon Associates. They seem to be just as strict as Google Adsense.

That’s probably a big hit in the pockets but don’t worry about it too much, I’m sure you’ll find an even better way to monetize your projects that is more lenient.

Sadly this is typical of them. They say whatever it is is against their TOS if it’s something they don’t like. There are some youtubers who use amazon affiliate links and they got wiped too.

Isn’t that typically the goal of an affiliate program?
