I'm a voluntaryist porcupine who has lived in Manchester the last 6 years. My activist focus is building viable alternatives to government schools. I've been heavily involved with the founding of Scholars' Academy (http://scholarsacademynh.org) - a small private school that opened last September, and also founded http://Alekese.com, an online learning website that helps people share decentralized resources for learning on their own.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. If any of you know gifted children ages 5-12 who might be interested in Scholars' Academy, please tell them about it - we need to recruit more students for next year if we're going to stay open.
