The Cannabusiness Thread

Had a need for a shed a few years ago, but didn’t want to take the time/money to build it. Was able to buy a very used, but still (barely) running E350 14’ box van. Shelled out $100. Actually was able to “limp” it home and drive it to where it sits. Painted it olive drab with a roller, windows and all. Can hardly see it ! Parked it in some bushy hemlocks. Stays cool and dry. Surprisingly no mildewy smell. Made a custom awning over the back with $0 in scrap lumber. The ones with good tight doors probably bring more $.
I see low draw de-humidifiers out there that you could run on a battery bank/solar with your fans to save on elec. Controlling temps upward here in New England wouldn’t that hard. I can see some options. On a really hot day in New England a box truck stays cool under shade trees.
Do you large scale growers use greenhouses to start early & extend your season ? Do you harvest & dry in Oct,Nov ?
Samm

Most outdoor grows harvest around first week of October.

You can grow year round in a greenhouse with supplemental lighting and light deprivation techniques, and get three harvests per year.

Indica strains that flower for 8-9 weeks do well outside in Maine. If you want to grow sativas that take 10-12 weeks to flower, you probably need to be in a greenhouse, as they usually won’t finish before first frost.
