In my 60 years of colorful and purposeful life I never craved or desired my name in lights and I hate attention. To accuse me of trolling is ridiculous. I was honestly trying to follow up on Sam. Many sites  had bits of information but no one had the full story from begging to present.You folks know the FTL and its system and you assume that everyone else understands it as well. It ain't so hence my questions. I finally learned from Dave that Sam is not active and is pursuing some sort of activity and according to you in the FTL it is in the field of energy sector. You got my attention by proclaiming him a hero for his hunger strike and for opposing the authorities and then without rhyme and reason he drops of the planet and no one seems to care. The post Part II of his trial is the last video that I know of. When I asked someone told me, oh yea, there is a video of him somewhere. How do you become a local hero and then become Sam Dodson who? in such a short time span is  beyond me. That is why I was so eager to learn how he is today and why did he stop fighting? After all that I learned very little. The mention of troll ( which I researched right here) prompted me to write a reply. Have a great one.

Because that's what Sam chose to do.

Sam was full of a lot of great half-baked ideas. He preached of suing Keene, holding government officials personally accountable, starting a media business, starting a laundromat, starting a food shipping company, building a tv studio, creating a FSP broadcast TV ad...

In the end, he left town with a warrant, a guilty verdict, lost Soap-Box Idol footage, and 2 broken cameras to show for his efforts - there is not much about Sam that I can hold up as heroic, which you seem us to want to.

Now, that said, I was excited when Sam came to town, because he talks a good, big game. Those 2 part trial videos - I shot and edited all 4+ hours. I'm sad that he left, because from what I saw, there was so much that could have been. Maybe he just didn't get the level of support from people that he was expecting.

Thank you Coconut. guess what?  All I saw was his release from prison, trial part one and two ( thank you for the excellent footage ) and nothing else. You are the first person to tell me what's not on the video. Had there been some honest record about Sam after he left town idiots like me would not wonder what happened to him. You guys leave a couple of videos on line and then someone like me comes along and gets sucked up into the story and actually pays attention to the story line and gets left out in the cold. I start asking questions and everybody is evasive and is acting like why are you asking? Hey all I see is what is posted and I don't read minds. You think I am after to make him a hero? I have seen heroes in real life he does not measure up just after three short movie roles, all I wanted is to know what happened to the guy. From my point of view what could have been is NOT real life. May be your right about what he expected for back up did not come up to his expectations, that's sad too. Thanks for the honest answer.
