Hashgraph doesn’t have proof of work. It’s the proof of work that slows the network down, and that’s where they’re getting the speed.

Without doing more research on hashgraphs, it sounds too good to be true. I want to know more about the technology, see if it really can deliver what’s being promised, so I’ll look at it more in depth soon. Thanks for sharing!

The bottom line for me is I think it’s only good in an already-trusted environment. It seems vulnerable to a 51% attack—if that. Proof of work is really necessary from what I’ve seen.
