Aw jeez.  If you guys wouldn't quote the troll, I'd never have to see this drivel.  central Square as it is today is a fairly recent construction.  It was changed a few years ago.  My first visit to Keene about 4 years ago was when it was under construction.  How it was before, I'm not sure.

Let's not be ridiculous and pretend I'm the only one who hates the monstrosity that it's become, or even that there aren't a lot of long-term Keene residents who agree with me.

I thought it was a good case-in-point.  It used to be good.  Then it was "improved" until it was thoroughly broken.

Always nice when the trolls shoot themselves in the foot...

Agree 100%.  At the southern edge, one sign says "No Turn on Red Arrow," and under it another sign says "Rotary Lane may proceed on Red after Stop." Few people know whether they can go or not, or whether the Red Arrow may at some point turn into a Red Light at which point you can go as if it was gree after stopping as if it were a stop sign.

Making a Left turn onto Roxbury from Court?  I have no freaking clue.

Yield for Pedestrians?  Yes at the UCC Church and the Court Street crosswalk, but NO when turning right onto West Street.

Not a lot of sense here....

Central Square has not changed dramatically for as long as I remember.

There were 2 other roundabouts built in the last 5 years. Are you thinking of one of those being under construction on your first visit.

On my first visit to Keene from my first ever Porcfest, I recall Russell K. talking about construction on the square so I assumed it was being altered fairly dramatically.

...Making a Left turn onto Roxbury from Court?  I have no freaking clue. ...

Before you get to the rotary, turn left onto something that connects, then right onto Washington, then left onto one of the two or three streets that connect to something that connects to Roxbury.
