I'm emailing a link to the city council along with a reminder that the world is watching and that we won't forget what they do at reelection time.

The situations where the advocates claim the vehicle would be useful (how's having a heavily armored vehicle show up after terrorists have killed a crowd of people going to help anyone?) are just bizarre until you realize that "security theater" isn't meant to make people feel safer but to make us feel afraid. Its goal is to make us think we have to give up freedoms because we're in so much danger.

Great satire on Keene's new tank.
