mr mackler,

If you can't see that your "super activist" post  isn't productive and doesn't move the conversation forward -as mentioned in my prev post- then I think you may have mackler degeneration because you aren't seeing too well..
I modified my  other post because it seemed like  sirhotalot was sincere  in his query about the shows in keene ...... I misjudged  it in light of other posts

Yes, my post on page 24 of this thread is preventing the conversation from moving forward.  Good point.  I'll just get out of your way, then.  I'm sure you'll have the issue resolved any second now.
It happened once that men sat together in a boat at sea.  Whereupon one of them drew forth an awl and began to bore into the boat's bottom.

"Stupid one," the others cried at him, "what are you doing?"

"And what concern of it is yours?" he answered.  "Is it not under my own seat that I am making the hole.

Neat, any way I can get involved?

You can donate to existing shows, call into them to add your thoughts. You could also start your own liberty-topic podcast and if it's good, and if it's been on the air for a long time and has come out very consistently and dependably, then you might be able to convince Ian to add it to the line-up.

Gardner doesn't archive the episodes for download but I have a copy of last night's show so I might make it available by torrent or something.

Torrent has been uploaded to Demonoid and should also show up on Pirate Bay.

Will probably download slowly at first until a few people are seeding it.

I appreciate Charlie Donahue's views here. Wish we could get these guys Talley, Ian, Ademo and Jardis to focus more on the US problems of these endless foreign wars. I do agree that these court proceedings should permit cameras. Sometimes it appeared watching these guys that they are so contemptuous of these locals that they are encouraging their own arrests.
Really liked the appearance of Charlie Donahue and wish he had been given more time.

FKTV - Episode 32 - Frebruary 27th, 2012

Their behavior is offensive, childish, and it's damaging our image.

And in this one they harass an old lady at 17m48s:

Oooh, tough guys, fightin' for our rights. And listen to that voice, acting all innocent and holier than thou. Then he calls the school a prison, which is a subject you can't just jump into like that. Is this stuff aired on TV there? They're making us look crazy! There's no way they were just there to hand out literature or they would have gone when school was out and there were actually children there. And who hands out literature to kids like that? Yea that's what parents want to see, people handing out who knows what to their kids.

These people actively look for confrontation. And 'Voluntyrist' clearly isn't her real last name, how can somebody be so full of themselves like this?

Im not a liberTARDian like Ian FreeTARD is but i have to agree that scholl is a prison.  People of any age should have equal rights, which as of right now if your under 18 you have NO rights.  You even need your parent to sign a paper giving you permsission to do pretty much anything.  And if your 19 and sell weed to a 17 year old, you can get 7 years for that

a question

why not take a plea deal (pay a fine) but then pay to bail out?
I thought the point of doing jail time versus paying was to not further fund this stuff?

did I miss something?

Bail doesn't really fund anything, as they have to return it to you when you show up for court, as required.  They're holding the money as a hostage, and return it to you.

Plus, most folks are released on personal recognizance bail, which means you don't have to pay anything.

So, you're not argueing about whether one could consider a school similar to a prison, but rather the effect it might have, such as alienation from FreeKeene, or further reinforcing denial of the fascist nature of the country?

I can understand the need for good propaganda, but part of any activist group is accepting individuals whose acts you may not directly support, but understand why they do what they do.

Then you say they're making all of you look crazy?

So because someone else can't/won't accept the nature of the laws passed in this country it makes the person who speaks truthfully a crazy person?
It's not a sign of health to be attuned to a sick society, my friend.

As to them handing out info to kids and the parents not liking that. I can understand your concerns of alienation, but many adults can't hear what needs to be said. The real world is far too threatening to their comfort, both mental and physical. The implications too many and too great. Most just close their minds and attack you for not playing life according to the socially engineered script.

It's important that you realize, as Monty Python said, The violence is inherent in the system. Either activists/protesters are peaceful and are subjected to the violence, or they are prepared to do violence if they deem it necessary & worthwhile.

Nevermind the people killed in the wars, as a result of prohibition, or detained indefinitely without charge or trial. All with YOUR taxes. That's robbing Peter to slay Paul.

In a more perfect world pacifism would work. The world is not yet more perfect though.

The key here being that WISHING something were true does not yet MAKE it true.

Do you understand where I'm coming from?
Laws are spider-webs, which catch the little flies, but cannot hold the big ones. - Anacharsis

Forget about winning and losing; forget about pride and pain. Let your opponent graze your skin and you smash into his flesh; let him smash into your flesh and you fracture his bones; let him fracture your bones and you take his life! Do not be concerned with escaping safely- lay your life before him. ~ Bruce Lee
